Installing the Chrome Extension

Download the Extension

Download the latest release of JobRefMe extension from GitHub.

Extract the ZIP File

Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a location on your computer that you won't accidentally delete.

Load in Chrome

Open Chrome and navigate to the extensions page by typing chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.

  • Enable "Developer mode" in the top-right corner
  • Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder
  • The JobRefMe extension should now appear in your extensions list

Get a Gemini API Key

You'll need a Google Gemini API key to use this extension.

  1. Visit Google AI Studio
  2. Sign in with your Google account
  3. Go to "API keys" section
  4. Click "Create API Key"
  5. Copy the generated key for use in the extension

Complete Initial Setup

After installation, a welcome page will open automatically. Enter your Google Gemini API key and click "Save API Key".

How to Use JobRefMe
